With a Master’s degree in Kinesiology and specialized certifications as a Women’s Fitness Specialist and in Pelvic Floor Training, Alex brings both science-backed knowledge and compassionate coaching to every client she works with. She is deeply passionate about supporting women of all ages through strength training, core and pelvic floor health, and overall wellness — while truly loving the opportunity to train anyone who is ready to grow. Alex thrives on watching clients discover their true potential, uncover strength they never knew they had, and build confidence from the inside out. Ambrose is a kinesiologist with 8 years of experience. He specializes in helping individuals move and feel better. His areas of expertise include strength and conditioning, sports performance, and corrective exercise. He is B.S., CSCS, FMSC, and CPT certified.

My name is Doug McKay Weightlifting Performance Coach certified by the NSPA. I am a strength coach who started lifting weights at age 12 and co-owned a gym at age 27.

My training methodology is based on strength training, calisthenics and the olympic lifts.

Most of my time today is spent outdoors in San Diego “strength training” clients as a Weightlifting Performance Coach certified by the NSPA | National Sports Performance Association.

Until my mid-20's, I didn't play any sports, I averaged 15 hours of screen time per day due to work and leisure. I was the least fit among groups of friends when hiking, snowboarding, and doing anything physically active. As a young professional, I was feeling burnt out many times from my 80-hour work weeks while running startup businesses, which eventually resulted in me hitting my rock bottom.   
Since 2017, in an attempt to get out of rock bottom and to change my lifestyle, I have tried various sports such as racing on dragon boat teams, boxing, snowboarding, sailing, rock climbing and bouldering. I realized that all of these activities I enjoyed required a certain level of physical fitness and strength, as well as my dream of traveling the world and running more startups in the future. I started to invest in myself, with the first step being investing in my physical fitness. I stepped into a gym for the first time in June 2018, and started strength training regularly since then. 

I bring over a decade of experience in education, serving 5000+ students and professionals from 25+ countries. I'm also a certified Crisis Text Line counselor bringing experience in supporting people emotionally; comment from a texter, "You were a gift from heaven". I have a Master's degree in economics and finance, which helps me see the world in the big picture and honed my ability to invest (not only financially!)

Matias is CPT, CES, and CNC certified through NASM and holds a triple certification through Gualda Training in Argentina, obtained in collaboration with UTN, ALIFID, and ISLA. He has over 10 years of professional coaching experience, working with clients across multiple countries.

His training background began early—at eight years old in Argentina, when his father introduced him to Kyokushin karate, establishing a foundation of discipline, physical resilience, and consistency.

In his twenties, Matias transitioned into bodybuilding, developing a strong understanding of hypertrophy, strength development, and structured programming. After moving to San Diego, he returned to surfing and later re-entered combat sports, currently training and sparring in Muay Thai. His athletic background also includes rugby, soccer, gymnastics-based training, calisthenics, basketball, and track & field sprinting, providing a deep understanding of coordination, speed, power, and multi-directional movement.

Matias works with clients of all ages focused on joint health, bone density, injury prevention, and sustainable strength, as well as competitive and professional athletes preparing for performance or returning from injury. He has also helped numerous clients achieve lasting fat loss, rebuild strength, and improve overall health through disciplined training and long-term habit change.

As a nutrition coach, Matias goes beyond macro counting. His focus is on gut health, recovery, and metabolic function, addressing root causes that affect inflammation, energy levels, digestion, and mental clarity.

Matias is the owner of Fuerza & Co., where he also provides online coaching. Outside the gym, Matias spends his time surfing Seaside or Blacks Beach and training Muay Thai, continuing to refine the same principles he applies in his coaching.

She is a former club collegiate volleyball player who has recovered and overcome six orthopedic knee surgeries from a college injury. She now can implement her learning and experience to her client’s when presented with lower extremity injuries. 

Her private practice, Equilibrium Nutrition, offers 12-week 
nutrition consultation programs for surgery and injury recovery nutrition and exercise performance and body composition optimization. She has ample experience in weight management, muscle building, and management of cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes, pre-diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, kidney conditions, and disordered eating. 

When not training or consulting, Tatum is often playing beach volleyball or surfing.
